Veterinary Technician

About the Role
Timberlane Pet Hospital and Resort is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a 2-doctor small animal practice. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule and willingness to be cross-trained in other areas of the hospital.
Skills:
- Animal handling: Ability to safely handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Veterinary terminology: Familiarity with medical terms used in veterinary medicine
- Veterinary critical care: Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to provide critical care to animals in distress
- Dog handling: Experience in handling dogs, including different breeds and temperaments
- Animal restraint: Proficiency in safely restraining animals during examinations and procedures
- Laboratory: Experience with laboratory equipment, sample collection, and analysis
This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician is required.
